WattWise Labs is an independent running-cost index operated by Mine Marketing LTD. We compute what appliances cost to run each year from public-domain ENERGY STAR federal certification data, and we want the numbers to be right. If something looks off, or a model is missing, tell us.

Report a correction

Every figure on the site is derived from a published ENERGY STAR record, so most corrections come down to a data point that has since changed or a model we have not ingested yet. To help us check it quickly against the source, email hello@wattwiselabs.com and include:

• the exact page URL (for example the model page whose running cost looks wrong),
• what you believe is incorrect, and the value you expected,
• if you have it, the ENERGY STAR model identifier or a link to the certified listing.

We check every reported figure against the ENERGY STAR Product Finder before changing anything, and we do not accept manufacturer-supplied numbers that are not in the federal dataset. We aim to reply within two to three business days.

Suggest a model or category

We currently track 4,429 certified models across 8 categories. If a certified appliance you own is not listed, send the brand, model number and category and we will look at adding it in the next data refresh.
